Rotary Networking 27th August, 2008 Rotary Down Under House 3rd Floor Meeting Room 43 Hunter Street Parramatta 5.30 for 6 pm Rotarians throughout the Parramatta area are invited to be a part of new age “Rotary Networking” on Wednesday, August 27. Following the lead of the Rotary Club of Sydney, the three Rotary Clubs of Parramatta has scheduled a “Rotary Means Business” night for the third floor meeting room of Rotary Down Under House at 43 Hunter Street, Parramatta– 5.30 for 6 pm. Rotarians like to deal with people of similar high ethical standards and this meeting will provide those present with the opportunity of exchanging business cards and forging business relationships with other Rotarians.  Rotarians in business, professions, trades and government service are all invited to attend and make contacts.  The agenda for the evening follows a very simple social format: 1.    Drinks and interaction – 5.30 to 6 pm. 2.    The opening gong - set the scene, explanation of format – 6 to 6.10 pm. 3.     Mass exchange of business cards (bring a good supply) -6.10 to 6.15 pm. 4.    Follow up contacts of interest – 6.20 to 6.50 pm. 5.    Future planning – 6.50 to 7 pm. 6.    Close – the final gong - 7 pm.  There is no charge for the evening but refreshments will be available at personal cost.  R.S.V.P Rotary clubs are requested to provide approximate numbers of Rotarians likely to attend to: Barry Antees (0413 880 267) – for catering purposes only   Alternative contacts are: Liz Mackintosh (0439 550 129) & Gavin Wellington (0412 663 634)
