Sarah Cotter
What a great talk from a
motivated and articulate female who shows passion for her job – Thank
you Sarah.
Whilst we get day to day
satisfaction from our work, we can only imagine the time and energy it
must take to work along brain injured patients.
From 1-14 months
Kevin illustrated the texture
of mushy food very well.
Better described as “Glug”
and the importance of speech pathology to ensure that aspirating is
avoided.
The 3 examples of young
patients that Sarah is working with gave us I think a real hit home
message on how an accident can change one persons life or 3 in this case.
And whilst some people are
adequately compensated some need to compromise like Bob Rosengreen’s
point about access to IT. It was also great to hear how Northcott
continues to play an important role in offering support and is an
encouragement to the club to keep on track with our fundraising goals.
